Montblanc’s first sporty diver’s watch, the Montblanc 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date, features a glacier-patterned dial that gives the impression of looking into the depths of a glacier. This blue glacier-patterned dial is inspired by the Mer de Glace (Sea of Ice), the main glacier of the Mont Blanc Massif. Its texture was achieved using an almost forgotten ancestral technique called gratté-boisé. The timepiece also features a two-tone unidirectional ceramic bezel, an engraved caseback and an interchangeable conical stainless steel bracelet with refined adjustments for a perfect fit. The timepiece complies with the ISO 6425 standard for diver’s watches and is water-resistant to 300 metres.
