Cookie Policy
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that is stored by the computer when a website is visited by a user. The text stores information that the site is able to read when it is consulted at a later time. Some of these cookies are necessary for the correct functioning of the site, others are useful to the visitor because they can safely store, for example, the user name.
Cookie Policy
This information is provided in accordance with current legislation, to those who interact with the web services of Fabiani Group Spa, accessible electronically from the web address:
Why we use cookies
We use cookies to make our website easier and more intuitive. The data collected through cookies is used to make the browsing experience more enjoyable and more efficient in the future. Each cookie is unique to the user's web browser. Some of the functions of cookies can be delegated to other technologies. In this document, the term 'cookie' refers to both cookies, strictly speaking, and to all similar technologies.
Type of Cookies
Cookies can be first or third party, where “first party” refers to cookies that have the site as their domain, while “third party” refers to cookies that are related to external domains.
Third-party cookies are necessarily installed by an external party, always defined as a "third party", not managed by the site. These parties may also install first-party cookies, saving their own cookies on the site's domain. Another type of cookies are the so-called "Flash Cookies" (Local Shared Objects), used within Adobe Flash Player to deliver some content, such as video clips or animations, in order to remember settings and preferences. Flash cookies are stored on the device, but are managed through a different interface than the one provided by the browser used.
Nature of Cookies
Regarding the nature of cookies, there are different types:
Technical cookies
Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide such service.
They are not used for further purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or manager of the website. They can be divided into:
- navigation or session cookies, which guarantee normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access reserved areas); they are in fact necessary for the correct functioning of the site;
- analytics cookies, assimilated to technical cookies when used directly by the site manager to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site itself, in order to improve the site's performance;
- functional cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (for example, language, products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided to the user. The installation of these cookies does not require the prior consent of users (more information in the Cookie Management section below).
Profiling cookies
Profiling cookies are designed to create profiles relating to the user and are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while browsing the internet.
The use of profiling cookies requires the consent of the interested party. According to the provision (more information in the paragraph Cookie Management below) the user can authorize or deny consent to the installation of cookies through the options provided in the "Cookie Management" section.
In the case of third-party cookies, the site does not have direct control over individual cookies and cannot control them (it cannot install them directly or delete them). You can still manage these cookies through your browser settings (follow the instructions below), or the sites listed in the “Cookie Management” section.
The User is therefore invited to check on the third party website indicated in the table below.
